I suppressed into comments info related to a specific map: the article is not abt a map, and while likely, the assumption that the list will stay consistent with that map is unfounded. (It might on the other hand be worth converting the list to a table, and explicitly including a sourced coordinate pair for each row, and perhaps a lk to a source (map or not) that does verify the name and position, or a pair of sources that permits verifying the connection of the name and position.) In the same breath, i'll note that the info i added abt the southernmost glacier involves a similar issue: i checked the latitude of Lilliput Glacier (36°34′21″N) against both the latitude of the Nevada one and the southern-most latitude (36°59′56″N) of the other states named currently in our list. (Well, actually, i'm not that clever or lucky; i found the southernmost glaciers in Utah and Col before i even seriously looked at the Cal latitudes!) In the event of added entries, later than the date of this edit, those additions should be checked against Lilliput's coordinates, lest we fail to notice, if they contradict my determination. --Jerzy•t07:18, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
