Can you add a heading explaining the subject and inclusion rules? i.e. does "former Estonian" refer only to the pro-independence commanders of the interbellum and WWII, or it also include post-1991 commanders, now retired, or the ethnic Estonians of the Soviet army and NKVD? Or maybe the title itself should be narrowed to reflect period and affiliation. NVO (talk) 11:47, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes sure, I will add an explanation. Thanks for the advise. Karabinier (talk) 11:42, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The image File:Johan Laidoner stamp.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.

World War I flying aces

[edit]

My hobby is writing biographies of World War I aces in Wikipedia. I noted in one of my reference sources that Jaan Mahlapuu (spelling?) was credited with six aerial victories while flying combat for the Imperial Russian Air Service. I would appreciate any reliable information on him, or on any other Estonian aviators who were credited with five or more aerial victories in any air service(s) during World War I. If supplied with reliable information, I can write a biography on any and all of them that are notable. I can also add them to List of World War I flying aces.

Preserving here by providing this link. My rationale was: "rm red links for those whose ranks do not meet WP:SOLDIER - unlikely to be notable". Please let me know if there are any concerns. --K.e.coffman (talk) 06:14, 15 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
