What about Wolf from the Chroncles of Ancient Darkness? 71.83.51.26 (talk) 21:48, 15 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disney's "Black" Pete

[edit]

One user has been repeatedly tried to add the Disney Character "Pete" to this list. However this is erroneous. According to all official Disney Studio sources Pete is a cat, he has never been depicted as a wolf. Mediatech492 (talk) 20:29, 28 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No, Pete has ALWAYS been supposed to be a wolf. I beleave Pete of not being a cat ("Who ever heard of a cat had a canine-like snout?!") I fixed this article to wolf for Pete's species, But he was formerly a cat with his tail only.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:989:0:3d7e:f0bf:5cd2:e54a:2176 (talk) 13:06, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disney Studios say he is a cat, what you think he looks like is irrelevant. Mediatech492 (talk) 13:08, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

You jerk. Pete always a wolf, But he not a cat anymore. But not official Disney Studio sources list Pete as a cat. and you're wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.232.3.150 (talk) 15:23, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

To the anonymous editor who labors under the delusion that Black Pete is a wolf, unless you can either provide a source that overrides what Disney Studio says he is (i.e., a cat), or explain why your opinion overrides what Disney Studio says he is (i.e., a cat), name-calling will not convince anyone of anything beyond considering blocking your current IP a lot faster.--Mr Fink (talk) 21:31, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is the Big Bad Wolf is the rightful wolf, not Pete? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.237.34.86 (talk) 18:24, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that is correct. Uptherial (talk) 15:49, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Uptherial[reply]

I beleave Pete has always been supposed to be a wolf. He isn't a real cat, ("Who ever heard of a canine-like snouted cat?!"). look at Disney's Big Bad Wolf or even the Sheriff of Nottingham from Disney's animated Robin Hood. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:142:C100:1A9A:C4A8:219E:82A5:B311 (talk) 17:45, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Have you ever seen a picture of an actual wolf? Pete looks nothing like a wolf. What you think he looks like is utterly irrelevant. Disney drew him, and Disney says he is a cat. End of discussion. Mediatech492 (talk) 18:01, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

But Pete can't be a cat, he's indeed a wolf. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:142:C100:1A9A:C4A8:219E:82A5:B311 (talk) 20:18, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What I think is the most likely cause of this issue is that fact that sometimes he has a strange canine-like appearance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Uptherial (talkcontribs) 02:09, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Or, it's more likely because Pete was a bear redrawn as a large, bulky cat, and that the moronic troll who keeps claiming that Pete is a wolf can not be assed to look at how other Disney canine faces are drawn. Not that it really matters because none of the moronic "Pete is a wolf" proponents can ever be bothered to provide any reliable source to simultaneously back up their claims and veto official canon material.--Mr Fink (talk) 02:15, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Good Faith?

[edit]

Why were my edits considered Good Faith? What's wrong with that? (SilvazeWisher (talk) 19:47, 13 February 2015 (UTC))[reply]

Nevermind, I understand what good faith is going on about now. (SilvazeWisher (talk) 18:49, 25 August 2015 (UTC))[reply]

Pete is a wolf

[edit]

People won't listen to anyone, but look at his nose. It is canine. Not feline. Don't you understand? Disney Studios did not create Pete. Walter and UB did. Everyone keeps reverting. Wolveswolveswolves (talk) 05:14, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This list needs more items

[edit]

Since I am not a "confirmed" user yet (and if every article I want to edit is "semi-protected" I never will) I ask anyone with the proper editing rights to include in the comic & manga list the following great wolf characters: - Ysengrin from Gunnerkrigg_Court - Kell from Kevin_and_Kell You have my thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by KekPafrany (talkcontribs) 12:32, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wolf

[edit]

I am not that troll, but I admit I don't like Pete being a cat. I like him as a bear, wolf, rat or anything but a cat. Now, is it alright to list Pete as a possible wolf? I am not like that troll, so I will not try to argue but I just feel he looks nothing like a cat. 2600:1:F18C:D7AA:B906:9D1:BB01:6F39 (talk) 03:24, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pete as a wolf

[edit]

Please change "cat" to "wolf" because thats what Pete really is. Disney and Ub meant him to be a wolf but Disney Studios incorrectly calls him a cat. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:989:200:B39D:9D45:A4F3:8B0:DF66 (talk) 20:23, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 3 February 2020

[edit]

Add Whisper the Wolf from Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW Publishing) to the List of fictional wolves#Comics and Manga. Notes for her would be "A lone, quiet, traumatized wolf who is a friend of Wisps, one of Sonic's allies, and member of Restoration, former member of the Diamond Cutters". 66.204.59.65 (talk) 17:25, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Done The list has no inclusion criteria that would prevent this request from being fulfilled. Although the sources apparent are of hazy reliability, there are enough sources available on searches to demonstrate that this character exists. I have not verified the character description given by the anonymous editor. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 17:46, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This article contains a red link. I would have removed it myself, but since this is a semi-protected page, I am leaving this notice here, waiting for issues to be resolved. The article to which the red link is supposed to send those who click on it may also be created, but it all depends on what comes first. Uptherial (talk) 15:59, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
