Benaras Entry
[edit]Benaras, misses a link because it redirects the Wikipedian to a large city with a fine language spoken there . BatmobileFire (talk) 14:44, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
Burano lace misses a link too . BatmobileFire (talk) 15:04, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
What is Lanon?
[edit]Lanon is listed as a fabric in the "l" section with no link. I have searched about 20 different ways on Google with no luck. It's a material I see listed on a lot of product descriptions of Asian clothing. Is it possible that this is not really a material but a misspelling of "linen"? Any insight would be appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.210.226.114 (talk) 18:30, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
- Apparently it's polyethylene terephthalate. Hyacinth (talk) 21:51, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
Polyester
[edit]I added polyester to this list, and yet RoxytheDog says it's "nonsense" and "no" when I asked her that polyester is a fabric. It is, is it not? Jeez. Johnnysama (talk) 19:29, 19 September 2018 (UTC)
Etam/Etamine
[edit]German Wikipedia for the Etam Groupe states that the Etam name derives from the material "Etam". Does any fabric expert know whether this existed as a fabric name. My Duden gives Etamin, Estamin, Etamine but no Etam. Could it be a trademark? Muleiolenimi (talk) 18:20, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
