I suggest to modify the png image of the AIM-120C5.png with the original svg file named AIM-120C5.svg also hosted in Commons. 100Polar (talk) 16:39, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
- i think the current image is fine. Rainsage (talk) 21:59, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello. Thank you very much for your response.
- Please, consider again the susbtitution I requested as the .png file is a lower quality image in comparison with the .svg and can be considered as a duplicate version in Commons. For this reason I am trying to retire it from Commons because I uploaded it by mistake in the past.
- Again, thank you very much in advance. Respectfully. MorMor 100Polar (Mensajes aquí) 09:43, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
Disparity between articles of Russia ans Ukraine
[edit]The Russian equipment article states the losses suffered in Ukraine but not the losses suffered by the Ukrainians. Why? Magellan Fan (talk) 05:20, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- "Why?"
- While Russia may be winning on the battlefield, they will not win on wikipedia! TurboSuperA+ (talk) 07:33, 30 December 2024 (UTC)
Should Brimstone missiles be added to the "Air armaments" section?
[edit]With the confirmed delivery of F-16 to the Ukrainian Air Force, Brimstone missiles can now be easily integrated onto AFU aircraft
The Brimstone missile uses the MIL-STD-1760 interface [1], which is standard on F-16
The AFU's Sparrow, Sidewinder, and ASRAAM have only been documented being used as surface-to-air missiles; but they are still listed under the air armaments section. Therefore, I believe the precedent has been set that munitions used in a surface-launched role that are originally air-launched weapons are listed under air armaments
I thought it best to ask here rather than simply make the edit, in case there are different rules for missiles employed against air and ground targets CenturionBestMBT (talk) 13:57, 24 January 2025 (UTC)
