FA List
[edit]@Aquintero82 Why are you removing encyclopedic information as unnecessary? Please do not remove. If this list has to become an FA list then it must have the pics, location details and ambassador information. They are not useless information. Please self revert. What is your plan to make this article an FA List? Venkat TL (talk) 17:46, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- Please adhere to the standard edits and display of the articles. Your edits are not standard. This is list is to provide the general audience information of where Nicaragua has diplomatic missions. It is not ideal to add Ambassadors since they constantly change and no editor will constantly update the Ambassadors name in an article. Aquintero82, (talk), 14:18, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Aquintero82, What is standard? who set it? Please share the link. You are removing the refs, in direct violation of WP:Verifiability. Venkat TL (talk) 05:34, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Aquintero82 Please spend a few moments to read Wikipedia:Featured list criteria and then reply if your removal of my edit is justified? Venkat TL (talk) 09:28, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
- My edits were justified. Nothing you added was comprehensive, had no structure nor style and was not sustainable.Aquintero82, (talk), 08:42, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Aquintero82, you did not answer my questions on standard. I and I disagree with your reasoning for removing my edit. How do you suggest we now proceed to resolve this dispute?I would like to restore my edit back. I propose a WP:3O. Please respond. Venkat TL (talk) 16:03, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
- Please seek a third opinion, or you may edit the article to reflect similar to List of diplomatic missions of Panama with the information you wish to add. Aquintero82, (talk), 10:38, 23 October 2021 (UTC)
- @Aquintero82, I have checked Panama article. This article currently is in a bullet list form. You are asking it to be converted into table format. Right now if it is done, it will look bad as most of the rows have no details other than city name. over a period of time, when the article will have enough info for each city, then they can be changed into a reasonably filled table. Until then the information should be allowed in prose format along with the refs. If you will keep pruning valid information and sources, then the article will never improve. Venkat TL (talk) 05:39, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
- The only other example I can offer you is Misiones diplomáticas en Honduras (Wikipedia Spanish page). Having a table form is clean and easy to read. What you are proposing is not appeasing to look at. Aquintero82, (talk), 12:46, 25 October 2021 (UTC)
- Misiones diplomáticas en Honduras is not a standard list article, not is it an FA list. Far from it. I have added the ref and the details in the bullet format. If you want the table version, please feel free to change the article to table version. I am not doing it myself as I dont think table is a better option right now, but I will not oppose if you change it to a table. Venkat TL (talk) 18:16, 26 October 2021 (UTC)
