The Ring

[edit]

Not very useful to have "The Ring" column, since they clearly do not have any female selections. 85.217.15.230 (talk) 00:26, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What are the "major" world titles?

[edit]

Ok, nowadays all of the traditional sanctioning bodies (WBO, WBA, WBC and IBF) have begun sanctioning female world titles, but prior to that there were several organizations that were exclusively used to sanction women's matches. I can think of WIBA, WIBF, IWBF, IBU, GBU, WBF and IFBA. Which of these would be considered "major"? 2600:387:9:3:0:0:0:81 (talk) 05:21, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

None, in my book. Don't forget WIBO... these are all secondary and should be mentioned in a separate list from the traditional titles, be it only for the reason that the list would become way too big! claudevsq (talk) 19:59, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sarah Mahfoud

[edit]

Here's the multiple media sources confirming Mahfoud was elevated to full champion: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5—amongst others. – 2.O.Boxing 15:13, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
