ODI grounds

[edit]

I suggest that grounds that have held ODI matches (such as the handful that were used during the World Cup) and maybe those which have been used for list A matches be included in the list. Seeing as there aren't really all that many grounds around, it doesn't make much sense to make a separate list for ODIs, but they're certainly important enough to warrant a mention. --Omdal 12:25, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Last Used Column

[edit]

I must confess to being a bit confused by the usage of this information on this page. We have, for example, the Sydney Cricket Ground first used in 1877-78 and last used in 2010-11, while Sydney Cricket Ground No. 2 being first used in 1966-67 with no information of when it was last used. This implies that it is still in use which contradicts the information re the SCG. Might it not be better if a ground is still in use, or at least scheduled to be used in the near future, that its "last used" column be left blank. If a ground has not been used for some time, say 5-10 years then the "last used" column can contain the correct information. If a ground was used once then I see no problem with the "first used" and "last used" columns containing the same date. Leaving the "last used" column blank for current grounds also circumvents the need to keep updating the page with a new year every year. Perry Middlemiss (talk) 05:06, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
