Look where Zimbabwe is

[edit]

Why are Zimbabwe and the other small country(in Economy) by the high economic Countries?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.71.93.115 (talk) 19:58, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think that something is wrong with the table. Whenever I click the button to sort (no matter which one I click) it always arranges the countries in alphabetical not the order that I want (argricultural, industrial etc). Macfanatic 12:56, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers do not add up

[edit]

Adding the $ values of agriculture, industry and services do not equal the total $ figure.

Also, which year is this table taken from? 172.214.142.40 13:15, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

totally agree, I think this was for 2005, and numbers don't add up, btw I have no time nor willingness to edit this... Mic of orion (talk) 12:40, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Size of Government Sector

[edit]

I have been unable to find a page or list on Wikipedia that shows the size of the total government sector as a percentage of GDP. Since this exceeds a third of total GDP in all the modern democracies, and is near or exceeds 50% in some (Brazil, Scandanavian democracies, etc.) it would seem this is an important set of data, and should be added to this article. Does anyone agree? Disagree? (or know another article where it is listed???) N2e (talk) 03:41, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

EU listing

[edit]

Like other such lists, again why is the EU listed? It is not a country. --THE FOUNDERS INTENT TALK 12:34, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're probably not going to see this… though the EU is not a country, it is a fairly cohesive union, and functions somewhat similarly to a federation. Therefore, it is included on lists. Elium2 (talk) 21:42, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So can we put NAFTA on the list too then? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.187.116.238 (talk) 13:59, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New Discussion

[edit]

A discussion has been started at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Countries/Lists of countries which could affect the inclusion criteria and title of this and other lists of countries. Editors are invited to participate. Pfainuk talk 11:31, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Methodology

[edit]

It would be nice if some economist would explain how this GDP sector data is measured. for example, can some sector or sub sector be negative if all the products are imported and so on? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.136.4.114 (talk) 16:23, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

>>> Imports are never included in domestic product by definition. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.107.0.81 (talk) 19:09, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This Information also seems quite old for instance the Russian GDP is listed as 733 billion dollars, whereas now the Russian Economy is worth 2.76 trillion —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.211.205.133 (talk) 03:16, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Numbering

[edit]

The numbers aren't aligned properly - there's a discrepancy of an entire rank by the end. I don't know how to fix this… Elium2 (talk) 21:35, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Saudi Arabia

[edit]

In the case of Saudi Arabia the percentages do not add up to 100. 95.23.42.237 (talk) 16:11, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There's different countries both labeled Nigeria in the PPP table

[edit]

At least one has to be wrong. Sagittarian Milky Way (talk) 20:38, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Number 32 is the wrong one. I'm not sure which country should be there.
