Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
This page has many inaccuracies and does not agree with Wiki's "List of college sports team nicknames" page. There is no correlation between the two lists. Please check "USA Colleges and Universities Team Names" at www.lingerandlook.com/Names/Colleges.php which has been checked and validated as recently as Feb. 2017. An example of the inaccuracy is looking at the list of teams with the nickname of Tigers: 39 given in Wiki's 'List of college sports team nicknames" (i.e. US colleges); 46 cited in Wiki's "List of college team nicknames in the United States"; and 56 listed in "USA Colleges and Universities Team Names" (this being my external site which used Wiki's conference pages to cull school names, verified at each institution's Wiki page, and other sources.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jwegryn (talk • contribs) 19:20, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
