@Mauri96: Hello, I wantes to clarify why I removed all the pre-2018 entrys. On April 23, 2018, the KMCA (the Gaon Chart) publisher announced the certifications. "따라서, 음콘협에서 운영하는 ‘가온차트’ 데이터를 통해, 음원(스트리밍, 다운로드) 사용량과 앨범(국내 라이선스 앨범) 판매량(출하량-반품량)을 인증하는 ‘가온 인증제’는, 2018년 1월 1일 발매 작품부터 누적 사용량/판매량이 일정 수를 초과할 경우, 이를 인증하여 가온차트에 공표하게된다." machine translates to "Therefore, the'Gaon Certification System' that certifies music source (streaming, download) usage and album (domestic licensed album) sales (shipment-return volume) through the'Gaon Chart' data operated by the Music Association, is 1 January 2018. If the cumulative usage/sale volume exceeds a certain number from the daily release, it will be authenticated and announced on the Gaon Chart."
Basically, albums/songs which reached the certification threshold will not be certified if released before January 1, 2018, and the thing with certifications is that they need to be awarded. I can't just say that song xy has sold this ammount and is now Gold/Platinum/Whatever. Source
