MOVE list of records INTO Records section
[edit]1. Until recently, there was a separate Records section distinct from the Awards section, but it was empty. In my opinion, the long list at the end of the awards are all (?) records. Hopefully, I am doing the right thing here by separating out the end of the Awards section into a new Records section. This reverses their previous order to minimise the number of overall diff lines.
2. These two sentence fragments were recently added to the article lead:
- -1ST man ever to score 200 runs in and ODI -1st ever man to hit 100 hundreds in International cricket
Their style is not consistent and it is too informal for an encyclopedia. With a new Records section being introduced, perhaps the content of those sentences should just be consolidated into the list of records. I'll leave it up front for now though, because they are a succinct summary of his achievements.
3. And finally, I am changing the text of ... his career to date, as he officially retired in the last day or two. And thank you Mr Tendulkar for that career, even from the poor cricketing nation of Wales. ChrisJBenson (talk) 07:04, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
