USMC mascot
[edit]The bulldog is a beloved unofficial mascot of the United States Marine Corps, however, individual bases may, at their discretion, adopt the bulldog as their official mascot. While the "Devil Dog," a drawing depicting a fierce bulldog wearing a helmet, has been approved by the Marine Corps as an official USMC representation and nickname, it is not a mascot.
