Merger proposal

[edit]

The List of benzodiazepine designer drugs article seems pretty redundant next to this one. Enix150 (talk) 23:21, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Squaring different values/ranges?

[edit]

The main table provides 4 links to equivalency tables. On many drugs, those tables provide different values. Most overlap, but what is the correct way to present the following:

  • Source 1 and 2 say half-life is 15–38 hours
  • Source 3 says half-life is 15–48 hours
  • Source 4 says half-life is 30 hours

Is the correct way to present this as the largest inclusive range, i.e., 15–48? There's similar issue with equiavalent doses, such as:

  • Source 1 and 2 say equivalent dose is 10 mg
  • Source 3 says equivalent dose is 2.5–10 mg
  • Source 4 says equivalent dose is 2.5 mg

I think this is important because the difference between a 2.5 mg and a 10 mg dose can be dramatic. I'm curious how this is handled, as this issue exists on many "drug equivalency table" style articles. Kimen8 (talk) 16:58, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
