Why cant this be merged into The main "The Simpsons" article? It's very short, and having 30 different branch articles from The Simpsons is a few too many. -- Chris Ccool2ax 04:07, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The main article is way to long and listing every award and nominations this show has been given only makes that article worse. This article is not complete and should be expanded (see IMDb) instead. --Maitch 13:26, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I don't think this is very encyclopædic myself, but do we really need a list of every award won by a popular TV show? WP:TVE... Why don't you get your own wiki if people want this much unencyclopædic info? Then again.. I guess if the article is worth keping (which it is) and there really are a boatload of awards for some stupid cartoon, then you should diambiguate. I've seen a lot worse lists. -- Chris Ccool2ax 05:45, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is no need for getting all worked up. I just don't want this in the main article, which I'm trying to reduce to get it up to FA standard. I'm not the creator of this article. If you don't find the article notable, you could try and nominate it for AFD. --Maitch 12:55, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this a featured article? The sources are not neutral? The references are from a site called Foxflash.com which is run by the Fox Broadcasting Company. FOX is the publishers and producer of the simpsons. Ergo, it's completely non-neutral.

FIrst off, it's a featured list. Second, FoxFlash is only used to source the various records, all of the actual awards are sourced to either independent or official sources. -- Scorpion0422 19:31, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Factual Errors?

[edit]

I think this page is factually wrong, myself. I went to the Environmental Media Awards site, and it said nothing about "Bart the Mother" winning such an award in 1999, whereas it has "The Old Man and the Lisa" listed as a victor in 1997. … Yet even on the individual page for the latter episode, it proclaims that it was an EMA winner.

What's going on here? Are the FOX people screwing around with the facts on the best TV program they have ever thought to fill their airwaves? GM11 (talk) 23:54, 8 September 2010 (UTC) GM11.[reply]

Column width & breaking

[edit]

Hi, I just added the 2012 nominees to the Annie Awards section. For the Production Design section, there were a lot of nominees, and even though the text was wrapping, it was making the Nominees column very big and the Award column pretty small. So I added manual line breaks with <br>, but I'm not sure it's the best solution as people with screens smaller than a certain size (???) will experience some ugly line breaks (a full line, a break, then one name, then break, then full line, one name, etc.) Anyone know how to best handle this? —sdream93 (talk) 00:11, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Kids' Choice Awards

[edit]

The section about the Kids' Choice Awards needs a huge cleanup. Favorite is shortened to Fave and there are things that just don't even make sense like "best tv shows of the year" [sic] and "one of the best cartoons of the year" [sic]. Also, this stuff is unsourced and is not common knowledge. —ÐW(T·C) 21:14, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
