Jaap van Lynden escaped from the train to Stanislau, but was captured in some village. He mentioned that he came from Colditz, so they sent him back. He tried to escape again, but failed. Pvt pauline (talk) 08:23, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New name

[edit]

In the diary of Dutch Engelandvaarder Henri Houben I found the name of a Polish pilot, Georg Stakowitsy. They found him, almost dead, near a lake at the foot of the Pyrenees, Spanish side. He claimed he escaped from Colditz. Two Guardia Civil picked him up and brought him to a hospital. He survived, the two Dutchmen met him again in Madrid. Later, the Pole was shot down over Germany. Date of escape is unknown, his name doesnt appear in your list. 188.200.235.36 (talk) 23:47, 13 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
