Mornington Crescent

[edit]

Stovold's Mornington Crescent Almanac is a real book, giving information only of use to players of a fictional game. Does it belong in Special Purpose or Fictional (or should a new category, Parody, be created)? Daibhid C 13:14, 2 December 2005

Time/Encyclopaedia Brittanica/Information Please almanac(s)

[edit]

According to the cover, the newest Time-branded almanac is Time Almanac Powered by Encyclopaedia Britannica 2008. The title page lists the title as Encyclopaedia Britannica Almanac 2008. I'm unclear as to how it should be listed in the printed encyclopedias section.

Also Time Almanac with Information Please started in 1998 after being the Information Please almanac previously, and had that title through 2007. Information Please is not mentioned anywhere on the title page of the 2008 Time almanac. Paradoks (talk) 01:16, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion criteria

[edit]

Does this list intend to be all-inclusive of verifiable almanacs (in which case my personal preference is for a different title like Bibliography of almanacs) or only notable examples (in which case the list is kind of a mess of red/black/external links)? --— Rhododendrites talk \\ 13:28, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
