Szczecin airport?

[edit]

Can anybody help with this question? Should Szczecin-Lotnisko be moved to Szczecin-Dąbie, or even better, Szczecin-Dąbie Airport? Please see also comments at Talk:Szczecin Airport regarding moving that article and turning the page into a disambiguation page. Thanks. -- Adz|talk 06:27, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, we shouldn't confuse the municipal neighborhoods of Szczecin with its two airports (although the word "airport" (lotnisko) appears in its name). Szczecin-Lotnisko and Szczecin-Dąbie seem to be two separate neighborhoods of the city, thus should not be merged. On the other hand the search string "Szczecin Airport" perhaps should link to a disambiguation page with following links:

Szczecin-Dąbie should not be on this page because its connection to the frase is neither empirical nor semantic. --Qqerim 06:58, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this. My mistake. I think I may have read Szczecin-Lotnisko as saying "Szczecin-Lotnisko is a municipal airport in Szczecin..." which led to my confusion. I agree with your suggestion for there to be a disambiguation page though. I will copy your comment to the talk page at Szczecin Airport and see if anybody disagrees with moving it. -- Adz|talk 07:58, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is there really an aerodrome of any kind? Documentation welcome. I consider removing the entry, for lack of any. Jan olieslagers (talk) 16:15, 29 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
