Interim champions

[edit]

@Claudevsq: I'll paste the exact same thing here as I did at the other article...As I explained in my edit summary when removing them, including interim champions just creates confusion. There's champions listed as current, followed by one or even two champions after, whose reigns ended months or years ago. That will confuse any reader who isn't a hardcore boxing fan that simply wants to look at what the article title says..."List of WBA female world champions". This is an article that lists WBA female world champions, not WBA female interim world champions; they don't hold the same value or credibility. The "in recess since..." is also pointless too; you have names on there that say "in recess since 2012"...that was eight years ago, I guarantee they're no longer "champions in recess". And just like interim champions, they're not "WBA female world champions", they're basically former champions with an honorary title. I know WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, but this is also completely inconsistent with the male list. And as it says in the aforementioned link, "When used correctly, these comparisons are important as the encyclopedia should be consistent in the content that it provides or excludes." Unless there's a valid argument I'll remove them again as you provided no reason in your reversion. 2.O.Boxing 09:41, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
