Psychology dept
[edit]I just added links to existing articles for Hans Herrman Strupp and Gordon Logan (Distinguished and Centennial Profs). New to this - maybe next time I should just include a suggestion in the Talk section instead? let me know.
I am also linking Sohee Park and Frank Tong, both named chairs (disclaimer -> I set up their article but noted the COI in their talk page)

[edit]We are missing some U.S. Reps and Senators and perhaps a few Governors.
And, you are missing Dierks Bentley '97, country music star and latest entrant into the Grand Ole Opry. (If you know for sure, just add Dierks)
Fischer Black
[edit]I do not think Fischer Black, was ever a Vandy faculty member. I suggest moving to here until confirmed.
- Googling "Fisher Black"+"Vanderbilt" gives no result that would indicate this subject is related to Vanderbilt is any form or fashion. Therefore, I'm removing him. --Ttownfeen 05:14, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
It's Fis-C-her Black. But I still don't believe there is a Vanderbilt connection. This guy is part of the bedrock of modern finance, so if one is established, he should be included.
Buckles
[edit]Is Buckles a former Reagan economic advisor or not? If not, being a Vanderbilt professor is _not_ sufficient reason to be considered notable. Ttownfeen 18:28, 24 September 2005 (UTC) -edited 02:41, 12 October 2005 (UTC) by Ttownfeen
Buckles was a Clinton Advisor, so if that's your threshold, you can include him.
Roy Kramer/C.M. Newton
[edit]Neither Roy Kramer nor C.M. Newton graduated from or attended Vanderbilt - they're just important athletic figures. (Kramer went to Maryville College; Newton to the University of Kentucky.) Not sure if their profiles should be removed. Someone else might want to chime in... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Colonelmustard (talk • contribs)
- "This is a list of notable current and former faculty members, alumni, and non-graduating attendees"... Hmm. I would assume that it could easily encompass notable staff members, in which case they can stay there. EVula 20:16, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Sports Section
[edit]Should Sports be sub-divided into MLB, NFL, NBA, etc? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Offthetable80 (talk • contribs) 01:32, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Redlinks/unsourced
[edit]What should be done with the redlinked people? They really should have an article made, be cited, or removed from the list. I may work on this in the future. Regards, PDCook (talk) 17:09, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
