[edit]Hi. I would not put the tailcodes in the page, since they are due to change. CVG/CVW-10 had the tailcode "AK" which was given to CVW-13 in the 80s. In 1986 the short-lived CVW-10 got "NM", previously CVW-21. It is also not correct that "A" was always for the Atlantic Fleet and "N" for the Pacific Fleet. Mostly, but CVW-16 was a PAC unit, tailcode "AH". I would also put the air groups/wings in one file that are related to each other. See: http://www.history.navy.mil/download/history/app15.pdf --cobatfor 23:14h, 21 Sep 2007 (GMT)
- You are all correct save for CVW-21's fin flash, which was "NP". Yes CVW-16 was a pacific fleet unit with the "AH" fin flash, and btw had the dubious distinction of incuring the highest loss rates of any carrier air wing during the Vietnam War. I'm not surprised it got disestablished. 58.164.45.129 (talk) 15:17, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Heading error
[edit]Navalaviator84 with this edit [1] you haven't said why it is necessary to have this level of heading (ie with one equals sign either side of the title). The error shows up here Wikipedia Check Wikipedia as a High category error. The text accompanying the maintenance category states: "A heading starts with "= XY =". It should be "== XY ==". This causes organisational problems (See [[WP:MOSHEAD]]), as well as accessibility problems, especially with screen readers. (See [[WP:ACCESSIBILITY]] and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)"

- Was not aware. I'll fix it. Thanks. Navalaviator84 (talk) 23:52, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hawkeye7 would you mind inserting the reference details for the books you were talking about, or at least titles, here, regarding Carrier Air Group TEN, so I can fill out the entry? Buckshot06 (talk) 06:30, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
