Issues addressed and tags removed

[edit]

I have completed a fairly thorough copyedit of the entire article, have included citations, and created an adequate Lead section (I think), so I have removed the tags accordingly. However, i will insert a refimprove tag, as further inline citations would improve the article.--Soulparadox (talk) 09:21, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do we really need citations for just a list of characters? All one has to do is open the book and there they are. It's not like stating ideas that are open to interpretation, or facts that are disputed.

Who is 'Brodsky?

[edit]

On page 264 there is an Army communique that starts out

"Brodsky is neutralized. Was found working in a storefront clinic, tried and summarily executed for treason against the United States. Some of those being treated attempted to interfere; 14 civilians shot, 6 dead".

Who is 'Brodsky'? I don't remember it saying anything about him before this passage. A Soviet spy? A renegade doctor? Mere background texture to flesh out the Army communique excerpts? Weird that it seems like it's talking about a character already mentioned.

Pretty sure it's just a one-off mention. DonIago (talk) 20:50, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Its just a one off mention, to highlight the rapid collapse of society, my guess is he was talking to the press about the his observations of the virus, which were not inline with the govs version of events and was silenced like the DJ or the reporters at the checkpoint as it seems to treated in the same light.31.54.129.189 (talk) 20:41, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
