Episode summary length

Please refrain from creating episode summaries that are over 75 words, and that are too revealing about the characters' choices, feelings, and actions. We should be keeping the summaries concise, not detailing the entire episode. Ryvenn (talk) 00:19, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Episode summaries are supposed to summarize the events of an episode, perhaps not in great detail but 75 words is ridiculously short. The average summary is ideally between 100-250 words, with a maximum of 300 for an especially complicated plot. Wikipedia does not sensor spoilers, so including characters choices, feelings and actions in summaries is perfectly permissible. SchrutedIt08 (talk) 00:30, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps 75 is too short: 100 words seems better to aim for. Please keep in mind though that the article is the list of episodes, not summary of them, even though there is space for summaries. Important plot events should be explained, without the addition of trivial details that may affect the neutrality of the article. Please see Summary style for more information.
