Links to Super Bowls[edit]

Hi, you may see that the links to the years each franchise won the Super Bowl directs to the article of that year, I think it should link to the Super Bowl-of-that-year article. --190.225.211.243 (talk) 13:18, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changing the Rankings of Superbowl Teams[edit]

I have seen ranking of these games, and the ranking were by the highest percentage points. there is no reason for percentage points in this sport. Records have shown the NY Jets & Tampa with a 1.000% ranking in first place along with the 49ers. The Jets win was back in 1969. Kansas City is ranked high with a .500% ranking, their last win was in 1971. The ranking should be a similar to the sport of bowling's "Petersen Points" for a 3 game series, 1 pt for each win & 1 pt for the 3 game series. I suggest the NFL adopt a ranking that would reward each team that reaches the big dance. Named "SB Points", 7 points for the winner and 3 points for the loser. The losing team would be justly rewarded. Example of the new SB Point ranking would look like this:

 Team won lost SB Points

Pittsburgh 6 1 45 Dallas 5 3 44 SF 49ers 5 0 35 New England 3 3 30 Washington 3 2 27 Raiders 3 2 27 Denver 2 4 26 NY Giants 3 1 24 Green Bay 3 1 24 Miami 2 3 23 Balt/Ind Colts 2 1 17 Rams 1 2 12 Buffalo 0 4 12 Minnesota 0 4 12 Kansas City 1 1 10 Chicago 1 1 10 NY Jets 1 0 7 Tampa 1 0 7 Philadelphia 0 2 6 Ariz,Atla,Tenn,0 1 3 Caro,Seattle, 0 1 3 & San Diego 0 1 3 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.177.2.79 (talk) 22:35, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
