Group 4-2
[edit]When will Group 4-2 start? 2003:E6:1F13:8900:D92B:CEF9:3A7E:C630 (talk) 10:01, 6 July 2022 (UTC)

Remove upcoming launches
[edit]I'm going to go ahead and remove all upcoming launches. I think these should be kept out of the page as they increase maintenance burden and often result in incorrect information being put into the launch history as people just copy paste from upcoming launches to completed launches. We should focus all the "upcoming launches" into the Falcon 9 list page rather than duplicating it here. Ergzay (talk) 21:35, 5 November 2022 (UTC)
Remove launch vehicle
[edit]I've removed the launch vehicle entry from the table. I feel like this isn't really relevant to Starlink itself. What matters is the date of the launch and where it launched from. If people want booster info they can look at the "See also" page links at the bottom. If you feel really strongly, feel free to revert and explain why you think it's important to have the information duplicated in this table. Ergzay (talk) 22:55, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
Starlink Group 5-1 are not V2.0 Satellites
[edit]My understanding is that the Group 5-1 satellites are are V1.5 but they are going into the version 2 orbits. Someone should verify this before changing the latest entry. Jnargus (talk) 22:27, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
Starshield Removal
[edit]Current cited information is based on hearsay. Suggest removal or at a minimum, move Starshield to its own page. Starlinker (talk) 11:03, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
Orbit Altitude
[edit]Reviewing the documents published by Jonathan McDowell at https://planet4589.org/space/con/star/starindex.html and other pages, it seems like the Altitudes listed are incorrect. Can someone with more knowledge explain the discrepancy? RickyCourtney (talk) 00:55, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
Group 10-10
[edit]23 working from 20 deployed? 2001:9E8:CAEB:0:C8F2:CEA2:7312:7F4A (talk) 07:35, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
Starship Starlink simulators
[edit]@Ergzay @RickyCourtney@AmigaClone and other guys. The fear has arrived. As we know this page is big, the starship will carry 10 Starlink simulators on next flight so should we keep them on this page or make a new page for V2/V3 starlinks? —⚰️NΛSΛ B1058 (TALK) 01:43, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Starship Starlink mass simulators are not satellites nor are they Starlinks. So there's nothing that's arrived.
- Also please avoid using terminology like "the fear has arrived". It sets the wrong tone. Also there is no deadline for making an edit. Things can be thought on for a while. Ergzay (talk) 01:48, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Ok but they will be deployed so can I treat them Tintin A and B —⚰️NΛSΛ B1058 (TALK) 01:48, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- this page contains boilerplate or supposed boilerplate/mockup starlinks like Tintin a and b, transporter-1 @Ergzay if my understanding of these satellites are correct—⚰️NΛSΛ B1058 (TALK) 01:54, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- No you cannot. Tintin A and B were not mass simulators, and they were satellites orbiting Earth, nor were they boilerplate or mockup starlinks. Ergzay (talk) 15:40, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

- As per Starlink page they are V2 or V2+Dtc. Thoughts are V2 mockups as Dtc can be achieved later. —⚰️NΛSΛ B1058 (TALK) 01:48, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- The description on SpaceX's blog talking about flight 7 says the following:
- While in space, Starship will deploy 10 Starlink simulators, similar in size and weight to next-generation Starlink satellites as the first exercise of a satellite deploy mission.
- That to me seems to indicate they are inert masses with the shape and mass of what the Starlink page calls Bus Starship-1. Tintin A and B were working prototypes whereas these Starlink simulators might not have any eletronics associated with them. AmigaClone (talk) 03:49, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
