Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on July 4, 2009.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that since its release in 1978, Space Invaders and its many sequels have been remade for numerous video game platforms?

Stuff I've found so far

[edit]
  • The International Pinball database lists the release date of the pinball machine as '79, as do several other sources. The flyer says '80. You may want to rectify it, as I try not to use Retro Gamer as much any more due to inconsistency in fact checking in their articles.

Everything else looks good glancing through it. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 01:30, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

iPhone/iPod touch game info?

[edit]

Is there info on this new game? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Erifneerg (talkcontribs) 16:54, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know there are a number of clones, but I didn't come across an official Taito or Square Enix one in my research. I wouldn't be surprised if they released one though. If you find a web link about it, please post it here and I'll look into it. (Guyinblack25 talk 15:12, 10 August 2009 (UTC))[reply]

GRUB Invaders

[edit]

I added a GRUB Invaders game to the list. Though it definitely fails notability requirements (it was not noticed by gaming industry sources), I consider it worth mention as an example of interesting technical achievement. As there are no sources to keep this on the list if my rationale is considered invalid, feel free to remove it with no discussion. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talktrack) 10:40, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is this isn't a listing of Space Invaders clones, it's for official ports and followups of Space Invaders. --Marty Goldberg (talk) 15:37, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Space Invaders Frenzy Release

[edit]

Hello y'all, I have noticed there seems to be inconsistency on Wikipedia over the release month of Space Invaders Frenzy: this page states it was January 2017, while the page on Space Invaders itself claims it was instead in April 2017. (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Space_Invaders) It being January actually has a source but I wanted to check before I change anything on one site or the other.
