The result of this discussion was to merge this article with Panadura Royal College. Cossde (talk) 07:04, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I propose that this article be merged to with Panadura Royal College as it contain very little information to warrant a article of its own right, however this information would be good as a section in the primary article. Cossde (talk)

I oppose this. This is the beginning and very soon the list will be expanded for Royal College Panadura and List of Royal College Panadura alumni. Why is User:Cossde so concerned about any school that contains name ROYAL in Sri Lanka ?. It is not necessary to give references for each word either.(Samudrab (talk) 22:06, 27 August 2012 (UTC)).[reply]

As a matter of fact, it is, at least when material is contested. So far, despite what I think is more than a year of edit warring, no one has ever provided any references for the version of the name opposed by Cossde, while Cossde has, in fact provided references. The burden is on you (others) to provide references to support your position.
As to the merger itself, yes, this should be merged. There is no logical reason to have a 3 line list be a standalone article. Put this information into the main article. If at some later point it becomes to long, then we'll split it. If you wish to expand, please be sure to provide reliable sources that verify why the person is important and that they went to this school. Qwyrxian (talk) 02:06, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
