Did Tina actually have a last name, on the series? I thought that last name came from the novels.

I don't remember it ever being mentioned. Of course, it could have come from scripts or promotional material, but in that case, it would need a source.Raymondluxuryacht 01:12, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed mergers of Sam Beckett and Al Calavicci

[edit]

It has been proposed that Sam Beckett and Al Calavicci be merged into this page. I oppose such a merge, since these are the two main characters of the show, and any merge would likely result in the reduction of the substantial amount of information currently presented with respect to these characters. bd2412 T 16:23, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I too am opposed to these mergers. In fact I'm inclined to simply remove the banners as a result of "Drive by tagging". The tagger didn't take the time to start a discussion or even explain the rational behind the tag. JOJ Hutton 21:35, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Disagree. There is little in either to merge, as it is all "in universe" and plot—no sign of any notability. That is great for IMdB, but not for Wikipedia. The result would basically be a deletion by redirect. PROD should be considered instead, as the article(s) are wholly unreferenced and non-encyclopedic. If not, then the merge and redirects should happen, unless the articles are over-hauled. Sometimes TNT is the best course of action. Note: these have been tagged regarding these issues since 2009, with no sign of improvement. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 21:59, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. No improvement in nearly two years.ZarhanFastfire (talk) 05:58, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hologram avatars

[edit]

It isn't quite true that only Sam can see and hear the Al hologram. It's established in some episodes that young children and animals can see and respond to Al. At least two adults see him too (an angel in a Christmas-themed episode, and a mental patient in another episode). 35.131.37.50 (talk) 23:43, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
