Done!

[edit]

Phew finnaly done...! Now we only have to get up the names an clean it up and it's done! -I PWN U ALL 17:10, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(Somebody forgot Arcanine)

I still don't get why you'd do that. I understand wikipedia is 'just for people who need general info on the subject' but even so, every pokemon page had a ton of info and now there's only one paragraph on each one. I don't see how that's better than before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.180.75.74 (talk) 23:35, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

:)

[edit]

I finally added everything in! Even that little Psyduck headache bit. -I PWN U ALL 18:28, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Needs some work

[edit]

I'm all fine with merging, but a lot of these articles have poor, rushed info, or are flat out not very good at all. I tried fixing meowth's article up a bit, but I'm sure plenty of other Pokemon could use a good lot of work, especially with grammar (which got me started on editing meowth)

Pokemon are "its" unless they are always 100% one gender (Blisey, Nidoking, etc) and I see that isn't followed much at all in this article. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.207.184.239 (talkcontribs). -WarthogDemon 08:16, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now that I got my WiKi account working, I went and merged some of the articles. One snag I have run into is figuering out how to source. Most, if not all info in the articles I merged came from the Pokedex. I noticed other articles sourced them, but I havn't quite found the format for organizing it. If someone would like to add the sources, they are simply the Pokedex entries for the games red/blue through diamond/pearl, with a few anime references for Meowth. Giovanni and Persian

[edit]

The fact that Giovanni, being the head of a criminal syndicate such as Team Rocket, has a pet Persian reminds of that one Bond villain that was always stroking a cat (and also Dr. Evil in that Austin Powers movie). If someone can get the fact right, would that worth including in this article, or is that original research?

Subsequently, would the reverse be true (putting that trivia tidbit in their sections)?SuperChencho 05:03, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would hard to include this without it being trivia. If you can somehow integrate it in to the article without it becoming trivia, go ahead. SpigotMap 05:08, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was referring to this. This is from the Giovanni article:

Perhaps not coincidentally, his behavior with the Persian looks very similar to other evil mastermind-and feline pairs: Inspector Gadget's Dr. Claw and Mad Cat as well as Ernst Stavro Blofeld of the James Bond films and his pet angora cat and Dr. Evil and his pet cat, Mr. Bigglesworth from the Austin Powers series.

A modified version of this info can be added to the Persian section. I'll see what I can come up with.SuperChencho 05:40, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Persian is very notable in my opinion. The Persian is a pet of the main villains' boss. TheBlazikenMaster 09:12, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of fair-use images from List of Pokémon series

[edit]

A discussion on the recent removal of fair-use images from this series of articles has been posted at the WikiProject Pokémon talk page. Morgan695 23:44, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Old wikipedia pages

[edit]

I moved the individual pokemon pages which redirects to this page to the Encyclopedia Gamia, a gaming wiki. Since they are filled with information that is mostly game related I thought it would be still relevant to be saved and updated. --Cs california 06:35, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Somebody forgot Arcanine

[edit]

Yes they did... and NOBODY fixed it!

You can be bold and fix any Wikipedia article yourself, you know.

Meowth not evolving

[edit]

Could a knowledgeable editor add to the Meowth entry why he (the Team Rocket Meowth, of course) does not ever evolve? Comet Tuttle (talk) 17:14, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
