Senators
[edit]While there were no expelled nor senators "dropped from the rolls", there were suspensions:
I don't think the 90-day "preventive suspensions" count here, just as what happened to Jinggoy Estrada in 2014, as the punishment was not imposed by the Senate. Howard the Duck (talk) 13:12, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
"Dropped from the rolls"
[edit]This does happen frequently:
- 19th Congress of the Philippines (aside from Noel):
- Nicolas Enciso VIII of Bicol Saro
- 18th Congress of the Philippines:
- Jose Antonio Lopez of MARINO
- 17th Congress of the Philippines:
- Eugene de Vera of ABS partylist
It seems this has been the method of choice for removing partylist congressmen due intraparty disputes. Howard the Duck (talk) 18:20, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
