Jamie's rape
[edit]The word "rape" in episode 15 was changed to "anal intercourse" with the edit summary Jamie's agreement to such an act defies the definition of rape. I reverted this on the grounds that Jamie agreed by coercion, so it was still not consentual. The information was restored by the same editor, with the edit summary Agreement implies consent - semantics supersedes personal opinion. I reverted a second time because reliable sources refer to it as a rape, and our personal interpretations have no place here. I am documenting here that the following sources [1][2][3][4][5][6][7] refer to the event as a rape. Any discussion on the matter should continue here on the talk page before the episode 15 summary is changed again. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 15:40, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

- Oh, boy, I hope this discussion remains civil. TAnthonyTalk, I agree with you. Suggesting that it was anything but rape is inappropriate. 87Fan (talk) 16:03, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
Season 4
[edit]We can't use this source as it's a fan site, but Outlander TV News has compiled a complete writer/director list for Season 4 along with the first six titles, if anyone wants to find reliable sources that back it up. Just something to take a look at. -- AlexTW 05:07, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
Prince of Parthia
[edit]- Is the play performed in Season 4, Episode 8 The Prince of Parthia? I googled "Vardanes [as I heard it] play" and it looks as though it fits historically. Worth adding if so. I do like joining things up.Cutler (talk) 12:50, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
