Split - and individual articles?

[edit]

Good to see this split out. Might be about time to start articles for SHs 2 to 8 soon... Grutness...wha? 01:16, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to consider a sortable table like List of United States Numbered Highways. --NE2 04:35, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced Category

[edit]

This article seems to have inherited the unreferenced categories, and these are clearly not applicable. Does anyone know how to remove them? I guess it would be petty to bung a mergeto template on this page, but I do think this info belongs back in the original article. dramatic (talk) 22:38, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What are you talking about? There's a citation needed tag in the notes for 1B. --NE2 04:33, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oops - well we'll soon fix that - I searched but couldn't find a source for that statement so I've removed it. dramatic (talk) 21:24, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SH 1D and 1G

[edit]

Does anyone know if they are still yet to be de-established paper highways? Are there any sources relating to these? Ajf773 (talk) 10:14, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

From what I gather by looking through various resources I can assume both these highways are no longer under state administration. Both stopped appearing in NZTA traffic volume resource booklets a couple of years ago. The only reference of any of them is SH 1D still appears on GoogleMaps (although that can be out of date). Neither highway appears on the more up-to-date NZTA official maps. If there are no objections within a week I'll move them off this page and into the former spurs section of New Zealand State Highway 1. Ajf773 (talk) 00:15, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unsigned highways

[edit]

I previously removed 1D and 1G (which are now mentioned on New Zealand State Highway 1).

Do we want to include other paper only highways (ie 1K, 20C) on this list article, in the individual state highway articles, or both? Ajf773 (talk) 05:53, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Shields

[edit]

Shields should be used because they look better and communicate information better. Similar articles use them e.g. List of road routes in Queensland Life200BC (talk) 10:18, 1 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Needs fixing == Maungatapu Mountain ==

There are at least two places I know of with the name Maungatapu. One is in the North Island of New Zealand and the other is in the South Island. It appears that Maungatapu (South Island) should be Maungatapu, Tauranga (North Island). This most likely got some people confused. Mykal51 (talk) 05:38, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
