[edit]- Hi. I was looking through the changes you made in the sciences section and I was wondering what your criteria for deciding which alumns to keep and which to take off were? And I was also wondering how do you go about researching which alumns are importnat. Thank you. *an MHC student*
Since this list is so long and has the potential to quickly overwhelm (and overexpand) the new "Alumnae of women's colleges" category, can I propose creating a subcategory just for MHC alumnae? It seems to be the best solution. Perhaps select some of the most notable ones from this list to include as part of the main category, and then put the rest as part of the subcategory. - Hi Beginning,
- Sounds like a great idea! In fact I will put all of the MHC alumnae in a subcategory, moving the ones that I placed in "Alumnae of women's colleges" to the subcat. Thanks for the suggestion - Classicfilms 15 April 2006.
- Excellent! Thanks so much. :) You might want to consider changing "alumni" to "alumnae," however. I can help you with that a little later on today if I have the free time. Beginning 16:34, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks Beginning - I think you are right about that. Yes, if you could make the change from "alumni to "alumnae" I would appreciate it. I will repair the individual links a little later. Again, thanks for your ideas and help! -Classicfilms 15 April 2006.
Please add Susannah Sirkin '76 to the Notable Alum list. She won the Nobel Peace Prize and I think that qualifies. Here's your source material: http://www.mtholyoke.edu/offices/comm/vista/9806/nobel.html
