Quintana Roo's similarity is Mexico? How useful.

Incorrect Information

[edit]

Whoever attempted to update the "comparable country" column didn't realize that the new international HDI for 2010 is on a different scale than the previous data sets. IE, France's HDI is .872 on this new scale, but this is much lower than what it would be on the scale that the Mexican states were calculated on. I would suggest using the older data sets. 69.113.74.114 (talk) 05:12, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Update

[edit]

This seems outdated, 2004. Are their new stats, I believe the 2007 came out already? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.241.124.150 (talk) 21:36, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary sentence

[edit]

"None of the States (or the Federal District) have a low level of human development."

Is it really necessary to include this sentence? I would like to remove it because (1) that fact is already evident in the article and (2) most importantly, it seems to spring from defensiveness and hence conveys insecurity. (I think we Mexicans can be a bit more cool about how others perceive our HDI!) Any interest in removing it?--Namenderkrieg (talk) 05:42, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Just want to note for anyone who may want to fix this ... all of the external links to the UN sites are broken and are no longer functional. This should be fixed. 72.39.210.23 (talk) 05:03, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reversión

[edit]

Excuse me, I will write in Spanish. Los datos que contenía la tabla en el artículo eran falsos. La supuesta fuente ofrecida por Heraldicos no existe. Los últimos datos para el IDH ofrecidos por el PNUD para México corresponden a 2004, y pueden verse aquí. --Yavidaxiu (talk) 14:44, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Helpless information.

[edit]

For "All" please provide a country other than Mexico itself in "Comparable country in 2007". Mexico is comparable to Mexico tell the reader nothing really. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.92.23.214 (talk) 17:39, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disparity between values in table and those on pages for the respective states

[edit]

It seems like pages for each of the respective states are still showing old HDI values (e.g. Guerrero .717 and Oaxaca .710) that do not correlate well with the corresponding values in the table. Or am I missing something?2600:1700:DA4:8090:B1D3:42E1:1AC:E1DD (talk) 18:47, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
