Adam Dunn

[edit]

Is there some official definition which justifies including Adam Dunn, whose OPS is under .900 (although it rounds to .900)? Matchups 01:48, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Small Sample Size

[edit]

Should we include a minimum number of plate appearances? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.163.100.75 (talk) 16:24, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vlad Guerrero Jr.

[edit]

Has hit a 1.002 per Baseball Reference (https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/guerrvl02.shtml) though on other sites he's hit a .997 (The Score's app, unfortunately I don't have a way to link) for the regular season.

We may also want to differentiate him from his father as well, once the playoffs are over. Mgraham1985 (talk) 20:08, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This list goes off a minimum of 3,000 plate appearances. He'll be added once he crosses that threshold. Taffe316 (talk) 16:29, 29 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

redundant denotations

[edit]

It's not necessary to have a yellow background AND an asterisk for HOF players, nor to have a green background AND bold the names of active players. So I removed these redundant denotations, a move that was quickly reverted. @WikiMaster2K15, would you kindly explain why you prefer the redundancy? ~~~ PRRfan (talk) 16:26, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Any thoughts, WikiMaster2K15? PRRfan (talk) 13:42, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
As WikiMaster2K15 reverted the original edit without an edit summary and has edited this page five times without offering an argument against removing the redundant denotation, I will re-remove it. PRRfan (talk) 14:24, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
