Name
[edit]I'm sorry, but HOW Anissina's name can possibly be "Khrennikov"?! カーベルニコフ reads as "kaberunikofu", it is VERY simular to russian last name Кабельников (Kabelnikov) or possible Кафельников(Kafelnikov, like Yevgeny Kafelnikov, tennis player). "Khrennikov" on russian Хренников and on katakana something like フレーニコフ! 196.3.50.254 13:08, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- I believe because Geneon says so :-P shall someone doublecheck? im rewtching so i'll post when i see it spelled on the official DVD subs, but I think Khrennikov is official. though youre right, it sounds like Kabelinikov in the kana. Mfrisk (talk) 07:56, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Voltaire not Walde
[edit]I wanted to preemptively fyi here, since some anon changed both this article and the KKM main article to say "Gwendal von Walde". I believe this is the Ani-Kraze fansub rendering, but not only is it NOT the official spelling, its just wrong. The fansubbers missed a syllable entirely. The katakana rendering is フォン ウ”ォルテール which reads "FON VORUTEIRU". Ani-Kraze missed the last "RU" kana, and erroneously transliterated it as "von Walde". Additionally, Geneon says it's Voltaire, so its Voltaire.
In the future, please do not change Gwenal's name to von Walde. Mfrisk (talk) 07:54, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- It was an accident that I change his name to Walde. I usually don't do it, but through an editing mistake I missed out the Walde. I had previously reverted edits to his name change. And short of putting the message on the talk page, I doubt users who come and go will not listen to us and just go ahead and change his name. Best you can do is ask for a protection, but other then that I don't see much of a choice. Other then that, go put the kanji and romanized name. There have been several name changes, like "Konrad", "Conrart" or "Jozak" or "Spitweg". I think people aren't sure of just which is the original name.--Hanaichi 08:16, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- I know lol u fixed it before on this article. hey listen hana, would u mind checking out my draft for a re-structuring on the KKM main article? Its linked on the talk page. u seem to be the most active one on this title, so i would love your input.

- Actually i was considering asking 4 a protect since this title loses so much in translation, its hard to keep consistency.Mfrisk (talk) 08:25, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
