A message about editing Season 4 episodes

It's not confirmed Ron does not go with Kim in Homecoming Upset. All that's confirmed is it's a big bonnie episode and Kim is Jeallin'.

For the past couple days, the season 4 episode area has been tagged again and again with unconfirmed summaries and spoilers, such as "Kim's dad wants to talk to Ron about dating his daughter," for Odds Man In. If you are reading this and the one adding these to episodes (Odds Man In, Mathter and Fervent, Stop Team Go, and Homecoming Upset) please stop, these are unconfirmed facts you are posting and they have no place in there. I will continue to edit them out until you stop.

Twila Starla

Don't take this the wrong way, but you never give anybody the chance to confirm them. Just leave them there for a day or two with a fact tag (It's what it's their for). The guys over at Disney are well known for revealing details in advance, just look at the interview that they gave for guys over at Savedinsneyshows where they spilled the beans about Hana. For all you know they announced these detail to the KP fan club or something.

perfectblue 18:40, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm well aware of these details that are released ahead of time, but some of the information given is not a full summary, or not even revealed as part of the plot. Let me clarify my meaning, the summary that keeps appearing for Stop Team Go tells readers that "when Shego starts teaching at Middleton High, Kim must be on her guard 24/7, and Team Go needs Kim's help with villainess Electronique," is unconfirmed. While it holds real information, no one has given out the exact plot of this episode, ergo, this summary is unconfirmed. The summaries that keep appearing for Mathter and Fervent and Homecoming Upset ("Team Go needs Kim's help yet again with The Mathter" and "Kim, Ron, and Monique prepare for Homecoming, but tensions run high when Ron ends up with someone else," are confirmed facts, but may or may not be the entire summary, so they should be placed as notes instead. And of course, the one mentioned above about Mr. Possible was revealed to happen sometime, but no episode was given, so it shouldn't even be up.

But maybe I'm missing something.

Twila Starla

It's only unconfirmed to the best of your knowledge, unless you leave it there for a day or so, nobody will ever get the chance to show us if it has been confirmed. Tags aren't just warnings that things are potentially misleading, they are also an invitation for people to add citations.

For example, have you read this month's Disney magazine to see that these summaries aren't included, or next months EPG?

perfectblue 20:12, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

What's confusing me is the throwing out of the baby with the bathwater. More specifically, the removal of confirmed facts along with unconfirmed summaries. A good example of Stop Team Go. It's been confirmed in an interview that Shego will be a substitute teacher, but I've seen this detail appear and disappear out the summary half a dozen times.

Vertelemming 20:26, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

They could be placed as notes, just not summaries, that's all. They haven't been reposted in the last few days, so I'm guessing the person who had been adding them read the message.

Twila Starla

No, they probably didn't watch the page to see that you deleted them. Give somebody a chance to cite them.

Attention Editors

There are already pictures for each of the episodes. There isn't any need upload anymore and end up with a zillon orphaned KP picture files in the database.

If you MUST replace a picture please discuss your reasons here first...and try to make sure you have a reason to (ie it is a picture that is much better than the one it replaces, descriptive, relates to other episode pics, and is small enough). Someone recently replaced a very cool and descriptive shot in the RonFactor recap with a blurry photo of Kim lying on the floor which was 5x the size and drawn on with some graphics program. I've tried to pick shots that work well together and represent the episodes well. Let's not have them replaced with a bunch of poor copyvio files...

thanks Jarwulf 08:13, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

ps make sure you name them so they don't get overwritten

All those images are needed for each episode. The one you put up for deletion for "Exchange" was for the infobox, until it was replaced with a duplicate. ---- DanTD 01:53, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Formatting Issues

Anyone editing the recap text try to keep the size down and the tables readable. As a guideline try to keep it so that there are no large ugly spaces between the pictures while viewing at medium text in a 800x600 resolution. 128.195.173.222 23:02, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

EP Organization.

vote here...how do you want the eps organized? By production or by air date? Jarwulf 07:53, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

Production.. any difference? --Highway 00:11, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Well, out of the series only season 3 airs closely to prod order. Chronologically speaking the series seems to go by prod order for season 1 and by airdate for 2 and 3. I've eventually settled for prod order, even though that would mean 2 and 3 would be listed out of sequence...the only exception made is for So the Drama which obviously takes place at the end of the series. Jarwulf 10:32, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

Don't pay any attention to the broadcast order. Trust me on this. Erased Paper 07:45, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

I agree ... the production code represents the order that the episodes are supposed to be in. The network showed them out of sequence -- ProveIt (talk) 07:53, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

Air date or episode number ---User:Msalmon 09:36, 19 December 2006 (UTC): I think the episodes should be aired in order of air date or episode number because that is the order they are supposed to be in not production code. See [1] or [[www.tvtome.com/kimpossible] for correct order.

Episode numbers.

I've updated the episode numbers to match the way they are here: KP Tome Episode List. At least that way it there's some correspondence; however, I don't think their that numbering entirely makes sense either. Really, Sitch In Time ought to be 34,35,36 if going entirely by airdate. But, I've followed their example, just to keep consistant references. -- ProveIt (talk) 04:27, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Here's another reference, with yet another numbering scheme epguides.com -- ProveIt (talk) 04:37, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
looks good Jarwulf 07:55, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Episodes Overviews

Should every episode be given a more detailed overview through the Wiki link? So far, only Bueno Nacho, Tick-Tick-Tick, and The Twin Factor have their own detailed pages. =D Jumping cheese 05:33, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

The episodes really really really need their own pages...so can a Wikipedian take the initiative to start the pages? (I'm busy...and lazy) Thanxs! ^_^ Jumping cheese Contact 09:26, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Anybody willing to try it can be my guest. Currently, though, the wiki link for Car Trouble actually goes to an episode of 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. DanTD 22:24, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
I fixed the wikilink. Now...any volunteers?!? I'm guessing that pages for the episodes will start popping up when Season 4 starts. =) Jumping cheese Cont@ct 01:38, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
The plot summary used for Crush is actually for Blush. Perahps somebody would like to start by transferring it over to Blush. I'm already saving a text file for Car Trouble, but I'm also willing to fix Crush & Blush when I get the chance. DanTD 15:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
I just changed it today, but I've got to do more work on Crush. DanTD 18:28, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Episode question

Why hasn`t the episode "And the Molerat will be CGI" been aired in the USA? Is it because of that weapon Jr.`s holding? Wierd.

-June 10, 2006. --Erased Paper 19:17, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

It will air in the U.S. on June 10. (Yay!) My speculation—there may be an official explanation; I dunno—is that they're trying to spread out the airing of their last unaired Season 3 episodes (of which "And the Molerat Will Be CGI" is the last) between So the Drama and the debut of Season 4 to give the illusion that the show had never been cancelled. :) —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 00:53, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
I only just recognized your name (from the ARA forums)! :P —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 00:31, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

Air date

According to tv.com, Ill Suited will be aried on October 1, 2006 (checking to see if it's disputed!). =D Jumping cheese Contact 03:50, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, not real. --Erased Paper 03:59, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

What will be the air date be then? (I thought tv.com was a crediable source) =) Jumping cheese Contact

Current word is early 2007. --Erased Paper 04:22, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Whoa! That's like another year! =( Jumping cheese Contact 04:37, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Well, that is the most generaly exepted view.New Babylon
As stated here, the official Season Four air date is now known to be February 14, 2007. —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 02:59, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
…And, as stated here, the official Season Four premiere has been changed to February 10, 2007, with four episodes premiering that night. —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 22:46, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Anybody know when season 4 will air internationally? and whether they have started dubbing into Spanish yet?
perfectblue 19:30, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Season 4 online

I tried to access the season 4 online preview on the Disney website, so that I could write the episode guides, but I keep getting stuck in an endless cycle of commercials. IS anybody else having this problem, and if not, could they do the episode guides.

perfectblue 07:17, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Episodes 49 - 50

What happened to episodes 49-50 they appear to be missing, or at least not labeled. According to the other data on the page, they should have been the last two episodes of season 2. —perfectblue 08:51, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Episodes 49 and 50, as well as Episode 51, are A Sitch in Time ("Present", "Past", and "Future"). They aren't labeled, for some reason. I'm going to add the numbers back. —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 19:24, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

"Car Alarm" air date

I don't remember if the air date for "Car Alarm" was ever announced—I'm sure Erased Paper knows :P—but I know it doesn't air on the 10th, so I changed the date to "TBA". —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 21:08, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Oh, duh; The y had a promo for it during the Season Four premiere. It's gonna air on Saturday. Adding date… —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 13:42, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
…And someone just beat me to it, like, ten seconds ago. :P —OneofThem(talk)(contribs) 13:43, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Grande Size Me

The episode is now on DC.com. There's some good screencaps once you get the chance. Gotta warn you, though, the episode is not on of the better Ron portayls. 71.217.236.119 03:27, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanxs for the heads up! Jumping cheese Cont@ct 03:40, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

What the heck is "Make A Wish"? Is it the name of an organization or somethin'?

You're on wiki and ask such an obvious question? Lookit: Make-A-Wish Foundation213.54.159.197 20:01, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
As for its connection to KP, while I'm not certain (SPECULATION ALERT! TAKE COVER!), I believe that a Make-A-Wish kid asked to be in an episode of KP, and they put them into Grande Size Me. Rdfox 76 22:18, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Writers and Story Editor Credits

I've noticed that on the episode pages there is a spot for the Writer credit, but it's often blank - and I can't figure out how to edit that particular box on the page - there's no EDIT tab for it. So how do we get in there and add the writers and story editors? Tjiva 22:12, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Just click the edit tab at the top of the page. - Peregrine Fisher 23:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Format

I think someone needs to redo the entire tables per WP:LOE. Since there is already a standard set, I think you should change the table so that it isn't full of useless colors and unneeded spacing. --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 21:10, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Images that should be saved

I strongly suggest that the following images are saved before May 4, 2007:

They should never have been tagged for deletion in the first place. ---- DanTD 15:53, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

All rationalled and tagged

Big Job Question

What do you think of my addings to the beginning of the article? Are they too critical? Cause in the episode, it seemed Kim only wanted Ron to get a job so she could eat off the adult menus(which totally stink at the places I eat! no crayons! [cheecky humorous smile]). 65.103.61.154 22:47, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
