Intel Corporation seeking to update sections in the List of Intel SSDs Wikipedia page
[edit]Intel® Optane™ Technology – Wikipedia updates; List of Intel SSDs Talk page
The following is an outline of proposed information that can be added to the List of Intel SSDs talk page:
[Intro copy – last paragraph needs to be modified and please add two new paragraphs at the end] [Change last paragraph of the intro copy to] In 2017, Intel launched the 900P series Optane SSDs that use Intel Optane technology. The price and speed of Optane memory is between that of DRAM and NAND. Prices were 2x-5x that of SSDs at announcement with significantly reduced latency.[22]
[Add these two paragraphs to the end of the intro copy:] Since then, Intel has released several Optane SSD products, including the slim form factor 800P series in 2018, designed for use in mobile and desktop systems.[84] In April 2019, Intel launched two new Optane products: H10 and a new M10 model. The H10 device combines the responsiveness of Optane with the storage capacity of 3D NAND technology in a single small M.2 form factor. The product was designed specifically for thin laptops and space-constrained desktops like all-in-one and mini PCs.[85] A new M10 model was also released that can be used as a cache device to improve the performance of systems using hard drives.[86]

[New changes and additions also need to be made to the chart, including updates to these products:] DC P4800X 900P 800P
[And the addition of these products:] H10 M10
[Changes also need to be made to the chart itself, to add references to expanded storage capacity (i.e., change GB to GB/TB, etc.] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shirleyhh (talk • contribs) 17:35, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
