Bhoot
[edit]@Sush150: You do understand what "Common diegetic world" means right? It means similarly titled, similarly set (themed) and similarly produced films (by the same people). See the "Love in", "No. 1", "Darna Mana" etc. series; these are not films set in the same universe but contain similar themes and were made by the same producers. The Bhoot series (1 and 2) have no relation with each other as to plot but follow the same pattern ergo "common diegesis", its titular rights were bought and another film (Bhoot Part One) was made on a similar diegesis (narrative) i.e. it has no relation to plot but falls within matching themes brought over from an acquisition of rights. Making it well within the meaning of "Common diegetic world".
If you do not understand this (WP:COMPETENCEISREQUIRED), I would recommend you first learn the meaning of these terms rather than going on an WP:EDITWARRING spree and nuking info without even trying to verify and discuss it. Gotitbro (talk) 15:00, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

- Umm, per this –
"Diegetic", in the cinema, typically refers to the internal world created by the story that the characters themselves experience and encounter
. So, the films should have some "commonality" / "in-universe relation", but then again, there are hundreds of entries like that in the article, so I don't see why Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship should not be added, unless we remove all of them. I've posted a link to this discussion at WP:ICTF as well regarding the general listing of the films in those supposed "Common diegetic world" sub-sections. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:17, 25 September 2023 (UTC)- Cool, a broader and better understanding would be good. Though I was basing my response on the past discussions on this very Talk page itself (Talk:List of Indian film series/Archive 1) where the understanding was as listed above. - Umm, per this –
- Bollywood Hungama also carries a similar understanding of film series in their listings of sequels and Bollywood films, as can be seen here. Gotitbro (talk) 10:47, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
Resources
[edit]Listing here resources which can be used to expand this list (as/if the films release):
- Bollywood: https://www.bollywoodhungama.com/box-office-collections/franchises-box-office/
- Tamil: https://imdb.com/list/ls568743623/ (extensive and useful though would also need to be verified from elsewhere as per WP:CITEIMDB)

Gunsundari
[edit]Gunsundari series has three films but all in different languages so might where should I put them as the list is divided by languages? Or if it does not belong here, that is fine. Reference for films:[1]
- Gunsundari (1927 film) (silent film)
- Gunsundari (1934 film) (Hindi)
- Gunsundari (1948 film) (Gujarati/Hindi)
