Alumni

[edit]

Howardstudents appears to have recently added many non-notable and/or suspected vanity entries to the notable alumni section, which need to be checked and/or sourced per WP:V and WP:BIO. --Kinu t/c 21:35, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Class Year

[edit]

The year of graduation is important for purposes of historical reference and context. The vast majority of entries herein do not reflect the class year of the graduate. Documentation of such would greatly improve the article. MuJami (talk) 04:54, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Media, Journalism and Film

[edit]

The Deparment of Media, Journalism and Film, currently chaired by Professor Judi Moore Latta, is a combined department so the "Journalism" and "Film and television" should be together. In fact, while certain aspects of the "Athletics" subsection could be considered "Entertainment" (section), I don't consider that "Literature" should be listed under the Entertainment section. Robert Heberton Terrell

[edit]

Robert Heberton Terrell seems to be missing from the list(s), see his Wikipedia page below. He was a an Howard alumni and professor, and historically significant. He also seems to be missing from notable Harvard and Groton School alumni.
