[edit]Rosenfeld deserves to be in this list. He's not exactly a recent phenomonon, but if you look at the article regarding the endowment of the college is suggests he was more than a mild sucess Pdbailey 22:53, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. Go ahead and put him in! Jacobko 01:14, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I just added something regarding Rosenfeld that I know the college claims, but I would guess it's in the Wolf article/book too, is this only in the 2000 Vanity Fair "hooking up"? Does anyone know? Pdbailey (talk) 15:58, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Completeness
[edit]I re-added the Cannons. My impression was that this list was fair game for any Grinnell alumnus with an entry on Wikipedia, and perhaps even some others. Thus, we could always redirect listings beyond the six-person limit on Grinnell College here, since this list wasn't so limited. Personally, I'd rather leave the notability question up the WP in general, and not try to develop additional notability guidelines for this list in particular. So anyone with a page on WP would get a spot on the list. Thoughts? Avram (talk) 02:48, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Avram, I think you are right, that is an excellent standard. When I removed them I intended to propose the two for deletion at the same time, but I only added the notability tag to one because I am no expert on notability in the field, so I will just assume good faith on the part of the editors of those pages. - Not done@Sarah at Grinnell: I did spot check on some of these and for some the sources do not support the person attended Grinnell (ex. F. Hudson Miller). Please go back through the list and either provide an appropriate source or remove them from the request. You are welcome to post a note my talk page when complete and I will review. - I have run through these and added citations specific to their status as Grinnell alumni when missing. I left some citations that don't mention Grinnell because they are citations for their notability. Thanks! Sarah at Grinnell (talk) 19:58, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
