Comet

[edit]

I would like a separate article for Comet the Dog.

Ok, then. Comet isn't even a major character at all. He in NO way deserves his own article. I am surprised he has one in the first place. Codelyoko193 22:52, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i agree, comet is an important character and he is a big part of the tanner family!

Comet was not a dog, he was a big pink pig with black spots. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Allynrowles (talkcontribs) 01:28, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly not. - SummerPhD (talk) 13:55, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
2 articles, 1 for the dog, one for the pig. and the black spots on the pig need their own article too, and a portal, and a wikiproject. and i want it NOW, DADDY!Mercurywoodrose (talk) 06:00, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Walter Berman

[edit]

I would like a note of the fact that Walter was introduced in Season Two as Wendell Berman, whom Stephanie still did not like.

Wendell never occurred, just Walter.Dshibshm (talk) 06:42, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Main Character Page Redirects

[edit]

TTN redirected the pages for the main characters. Reason: unknown. WAVY 10 14:40, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Until reason is given, I am correcting. --ProteinTotal 22:54, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They cannot pass WP:FICT and WP:WAF, so they need to be contained in a larger topic. TTN 23:01, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Main Characters

[edit]

Since when I added the main characters here they got removed I wanted to give my reasoning. Whether or not the main characters are redirected here or not, they should be included on this page. If not, this page needs to be renamed to something other than List of Full House characters (for example, list of secondary characters of Full House or list of recurring characters of Full House, kind of like this). Most other shows (if not all) have, in their lists of characters, the main characters listed along with a link to their articles. See for example here, here, here, here, here or many others. Thus, this list is flawed by not having the main characters on here and I'm going to replace them if no one has any real reason (see: precedent) not to. Phydend 02:54, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since I got reverted again with no talk here, I'm going to move this to List of minor characters in Full House since that is a more accurate name. I'll probably move it in a day if no one objects. Phydend 01:57, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What happened to Lisa

[edit]

What happened to Michelle's friend Lisa. I don't know enough about her to write about her but I know she was in the episode We Got the Beat, with quite a major part, however, she isn't mentioned. I don't know if she was in any other episodes or if she was a very major role. Mouseinthehouse (talk) 17:27, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Lisa

[edit]

Lisa also appeared in "To Joey With Love", "Dateless in San Fansisco", "My Left and My Right Foot", "I've Got A Secret" and "Superbowl Fun Day". I made a minor correction to the section regarding Lisa as well. Her last name is Leeper, not Lieber. 71.224.209.131 (talk) 16:22, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Edits

[edit]

I have edited a few sections to more accurately reflect the show. My edits were made under the characters of Steve, Teddy, Lisa, Duane and Derek. The number of episodes Lisa and Derek appeared in was six and eight respectively. There was nothing about Stephanie and a magazine in the season 8 episode "Dateless in San Francisco". In that episode, Michelle just thought that because Staphanie and Kenneth acted the way they did, that her and Teddy were "supposed" to behave like that as boyfriend and girlfriend. Perhaps the individual who wrote that up was thinking of the 6th season episode "The Dating Game". Also, Duane does not recite a soliloquy from Romeo and Juliet but he recites Shakespeare's Sonnet #18. I have also made some edits to the Beach Boys section. I might have made a few edits elsewhere but where I made them escapes me at the moment. 71.224.209.131 (talk) 17:02, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good job; I also made an edit to Steve's character. I'll admit, as I note, Steve Hale is probably the same as Steve Peters, but there is enough room for doubt it should be noted (though perhaps I cuold have added the term retcon - someone else is welcome to). It wouldn't be the first time an actor played two different characters, and the certainty of them first going out in Spain 6 months before Kimmy's birthday is so huge to D.J. in that episode that the writers may well have been undecided before, then decided he should be a different one later on. Additionally, if he knew the Tanners it could have been because he and D.J. did things in a group before.)209.244.187.155 (talk) 01:18, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. You're right. Steve Hale/Peters is the same character. Scott Weinger played Steve Hale in the 5th season episode "Sisters in Crime" where he was first introduced. Then Scott made regular appearances as Steve Peters and earned a title credit between seasons 6 and 7. I like your thinking though. Since we're dealing with fictional characters and there is also enough instances in Full House to say there are continuity problems perhaps we can go so far as to suggest that 1882 Girard Street (The Tanners' street address) lies over a dimensional portal which brings the characters in and out of parallel universes. Yes, I'm serious when I suggest that. It wouldn't be the first time in television, you're right. Remember Perfect Strangers? Mrs. Twinkacetti somehow turned into Ms. Lydia later on in the series. 71.224.214.239 (talk) 02:53, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Imbalance

[edit]

Lord know this page should largely be rewritten due to references, but seriously, why is Joey Gladstone getting the shaft here? It's rare to see both a promotional page and obvious political omission in the same boat--make me think what Wikipedia would be like if they stuck to their prior UFC 1 type rules :) Jeremy112233 (talk) 05:55, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This page needs to be re-written or erased due to a number of reasons, not excluding the lack of basic sentence structure. "Pij" (talk) 11:19, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

uncle jesse

[edit]

is this proper use of née?

Jesse (née Hermes) Katsopolis (portrayed by John Stamos)

later in the paragraph it does explain

He did not like his birth name, 'Hermes', so when he was young, he changed his name to Jesse

isn't née usually only used to indicate a married woman's maiden name?

it also (in the same sentence) addresses how his surname was Cochran in season 1, but was later changed to Katsopolis.

what's a better way to explain the name changes? ≈Sensorsweep (talk) 05:09, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Née means the name a person was born with. But, I don't think it's needed there. If you want to removed that, it's fine with me. --Musdan77 (talk) 16:32, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen in season 1 (Full House) — recurring or main cast?

[edit]

This edit has brought attention to how the two are credited in the first season. The YouTube video mentioned in the edit summary does not show them in the opening credit sequence, so they should be "Recurring" for season 1. However, the video shows the long version of the theme song likely only run for the very first episode. Also, a further verification — and proper one, since many YouTube videos are flagged for copyright issues, with this one being no exception — is needed via the season 1 set on DVD to ensure the credit as shown in the edit is correct. When seeing the opening credits in syndication runs, like on Nick at Nite, they do show them listed even for the season 1 episodes, but I'm thinking the DVD should be definitive proof regarding the two's credit. I vaguely recall them being listed in the end credits during that season, but listed as Mary Kate & Ashley Fuller Olsen. MPFitz1968 (talk) 15:05, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Error for DJ

[edit]

The article currently contains an error, which I can't fix. In the text box section for D.J. Tanner it states that DJ is portrayed by John Stamos, when she is portrayed by Candace Cameron. It is correct in the main text.

Please fix!

Fixed, thanks. Sir Joseph (talk) 15:10, 25 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Major removal of content due to being trivia/unsourced

[edit]

@Mercurywoodrose: I have restored the content that was removed here [1], for the time being. As you pointed out, there's too much unsourced trivia in this content. But not everything that was removed was trivia, and some of the stuff can be verified per the two TV series directly (as primary sources), like a portion of this sentence (I struck out what should be sourced if included): "Jesse Katsopolis (portrayed by John Stamos; the character's last name in season one was Cochran, but was changed reportedly due to John Stamos wanting his character to better reflect his Greek heritage) is Danny's brother-in-law, Pam's younger brother and husband to Rebecca Donaldson and father to twins Nicky and Alex." The next sentence in his profile, however, "Born Hermes Katsopolis (as revealed in the season five episode 'The Legend of Ranger Joe', and was named after his great-grandfather, who in turn is named after the Greek god of swiftness), he did not like his birth name as other kids teased him for it; so when he was in kindergarten, he begged his parents to have his name changed to Jesse, thinking that one had to have a 'cool name' to be in the in-crowd" is in need of sourcing, though this is likely fancruft trivia anyway. A lot of trivia and unsourced information exists in the removed content, but basic details about each character, properly verifiable thru the two TV series per WP:PRIMARY, should be allowed to stand. The infoboxes by each character: no doubt those should go, period. Any other thoughts?

I made note that in the main article for Full House, the cast/character section is reduced to simply a list of the actors and characters they portray, but no (even brief) descriptions of any of them at all. MPFitz1968 (talk) 15:51, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

of course. information in the article needs to be sourced from more than just a primary source. the information exists, but is it notable? has anyone commented on the details of these characters? probably, but we dont have sources. we are not a repository for all facts about everything in existence. but i will no longer bother with this article, as its obvious that people are going to be protective of the content beyond any reasonable WP standard of notability.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 17:41, 18 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Infoboxes

[edit]

MPFitz1968 gave this reason for removing infoboxes: "unnecessary and full of unsourced trivia".

No infobox is necessary on any WP page, but is helpful, "allowing readers to identify key facts at a glance" (WP:INFOBOXPURPOSE). However, it is true that info too trivial and that is not found (sourced) in the article's body should not be included. —Musdan77 (talk) 19:10, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lori Loughlin "main"

Lori Loughlin was only credited in s.3 opening credits in episodes she appeared in. TheHYPO (talk) 07:39, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please change

===D.J. Tanner-Fuller===

to

===D.J. Tanner-Fuller===
{{anchor|D.J. Tanner}}

To allow linkage from the name used on the original show (Full House) not just the new show (Fuller House with D.J. Tanner-Fuller)

-- 70.51.200.162 (talk) 03:32, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Done Looks like when entering "D.J. Tanner" in search box, or clicking D.J. Tanner, it goes where it's supposed to, though because of the position of the anchor, the top of the screen may be a little off (just below the section heading). May need to play with that some. Lola "Fuller House"

[edit]

Lola is reccuring again in season 3 of fuller house. She is listed as Guest Starring in episode 3

Grammar Error

[edit]

Last paragraph of Danny Tanner section, sentence 3, has grammatical error. It uses "HIM" not "HE". It should read "In season three Danny reveals that he and Teri got divorced." or "In season three Danny reveals that he and Teri divorced." ("GOT" is superfluous since "DIVORCED" is also a verb). 50.32.158.93 (talk) 03:05, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
