Combining Teams and Manufacturers World Championships
I don't quite understand the logic of having the 2012-2017 World Manufacturers Championship, then having a 2022-2023 (2024?) "Hypercar World Endurance Championship" which also includes one season of it being an Teams championship in 2021? Surely the 2018-2021 LMP1 World Endurance Championship should be merged with the 2022 Hypercar World Endurance Championship as they are scored in exactly the same way and are a teams championship, the only difference is that we went from LMP1 ruleset to Hypercar. Then merge the 2012-2017 World Manufacturers Championship in with the 2022-2023 Hypercar World Endurance Championship as they are still the manufacturers championship just under a different title. We already denote the change from the 2012 GT World Cup into the 20127 GT World Championships into a single chart, so this should be easy to merge as well.
