Dimensions

[edit]

Where are the dimensions? Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 18:00, 15 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

See each stadium's article for its field dimensions. Including them is beyond the scope of this list. Waz8:T-C-E 01:44, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't make sense. Why would information about the stadiums not be on a list of stadiums? Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 02:34, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Well, one could make the argument that other information "should" also be shown on the list: owner, operator, builder, architect, cost, etc. Eventually, there would be so many items in the table that it would no longer be easily navigable, especially using mobile browsers. None of the other Minor League nor NCAA baseball stadium lists contain the field dimensions. The Major League stadium list shows just the distance to center field, but it's debatable whether this dimension by itself is useful. Plus, even the LF/CF/RF distances themselves would not accurately describe a field with unusual features, such as Fenway Park. If you would like to start a discussion about whether the dimensions should be included, I recommend doing so at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Baseball in order to establish a consensus that would apply to all such lists. Hope this helps! Waz8:T-C-E 02:32, 16 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Gotcha. Thanks! Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 16:29, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
