Where is Diehard?

[edit]

Diehard starring Bruce Willis IS a Christmas movie ... why isn't it included on this list? MAGA 2601:842:281:2F00:4016:5805:FF3B:308D (talk) 21:22, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's not only mentioned in the lead but also one of the tables. You might try looking for Die Hard rather than Diehard, though. DonIago (talk) 04:34, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Green Knight?

[edit]

The frame story of The Green Knight (2021) takes place on Christmas Day. (In the original poem it was on New Year's eve, which was part of the 12 days of Christmas.) RockRockOn (talk) 08:20, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merry Little Batman

[edit]

Merry Little Batman (2023) must be added. FivesTCW (talk) 02:26, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Done Randy Kryn (talk) 09:42, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! FivesTCW (talk) 10:21, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Le père Noël

[edit]

Le père Noël (english title: Santa Claus) (2014) must be added. FivesTCW (talk) 02:27, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special

[edit]

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022) must be added. FivesTCW (talk) 02:28, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This should probably go on the Christmas television page. Randy Kryn (talk) 09:42, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This one actually has to be on this list since it's an actual Marvel movie released on Disney+ in 2022. It's not connected to any television series or sth similar, just a direct-to-streaming film. FivesTCW (talk) 10:24, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Is the summary adequate or would you suggest something else. It'd be nice when you pick up enough edits to edit things, you have a good sense for these things. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:32, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I think the summary is appropriate, they don't really do much more than that in the movie lol. FivesTCW (talk) 11:37, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation

[edit]

Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation (2009) must be added. FivesTCW (talk) 02:29, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Have added it although it may be moved to the Christmas television page. Randy Kryn (talk) 09:42, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks and you're probably right, I didn't know about that page :) FivesTCW (talk) 10:22, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lend a Paw

[edit]

Should we include the 1941 animated Mickey Mouse short "Lend a Paw" in this list? I'd say we should since it does not directly take place at Christmas but it certainly does take place within a Christmassy winter setting. The message is also very Christmassy, accepting someone in need into your home. FivesTCW (talk) 10:39, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all the suggestions FivesTCW. On this one Christmas isn't mentioned on the page, so probably not. Disney could have made it into a Christmas film if he'd added a couple images of Christmas or deliberately mentioned it. Because of your mention I did add 'Shoulder angel' to the See also list of List of films about angels, another nice list if you have any suggestions. And of course, Merry Christmas! and the best for the New Year. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:25, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks for your efforts! Merry Christmas and a happy new year! FivesTCW (talk) 11:33, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
