FYI Re Wiki Elections

Have a look at any of List of British Columbia general elections and also in any of the ridings; all historical ridings are now in place, other than a few to be tidied up in the next week. NDP/CCF and other related MLAs/MPs have redlinks waiting to have articles written all over the place; NB on the elections and ridings pages that spelling/name form used by the Chief Electoral Officer should display, whatever the format to the link, e.g. Ernie Winch vs Ernest Edward Winch (or whatever his middle name was).Skookum1 19:55, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Municipal politicians

It makes sense to have a section on municipal politicians with NDP membership, however the critieria for this list is very inconsistent.

Including people like Derek Corrigan and Helena Gutteridge makes sense, as they only held municipal political offices. But members like Chuck Puchmayr and Pietro Calendino, despite having notable municipal political careers, are already included earlier in the article because they served in the British Columbia Legislative Assembly. If we were to add each CCF/NDP MLA who at some point served on a municipal council, we would likely have to double the length of the article. Politicians like Christine Boyle, George Chow, Anne Kang, Leonard Krog, and many more all had tenures on municipal councils before serving as MLAs, but are currently not included in this section. I think we should save the municipal politician section for those who have not sat in the Legislature. RedBlueGreen93 22:57, 17 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
