About the merge
[edit]I think this article as well as the others that its sugested to merge with should be expanded instead of merged, since they have valuable information that would be too heavy to develop in one page, besides the U.S has quite a lot of pages in this sense:
- List of U.S. state capitals
- List of current and former capital cities within U.S. states
- List of U.S. states' largest cities
- List of U.S. states by date of statehood
- List of U.S. states that were never territories
- List of U.S. state name etymologies
- List of state legislatures in the United States
- List of U.S. states by area
- List of U.S. states by elevation
- List of U.S. states by GDP (nominal)
- List of U.S. states by GDP per capita (nominal)
- List of U.S. states by population
- List of U.S. states by population density
- List of U.S. states by time zone
- List of U.S. states by unemployment rate
- List of U.S. states by traditional abbreviation
- U.S. postal abbreviations
- U.S. state temperature extremes
- Codes: FIPS state code, ISO 3166-2:US
and i dont see a reason why Brazil shouldnt have it,besides the strong U.S bias on Wikipedia--Andres rojas22 17:56, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
Comparable Country
[edit]Comparing this page with List of countries by Human Development Index then assuming I understand it correctly the comparable country column is well out of date. I'd suggest dropping it altogether, myself, as a maintenance nightmare. Bagunceiro (talk) 11:03, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
- why a maintenance nightmare? The HDI report comes onde a year, so this only needs to be updated once a year. In plus, this is very important information, I wish other countries would have the same comparison tables, also for the different sub-indices of the HDI!!! Also when updating the "old" data should be compiled into some "historical evolution and world comparison of Brazilian states by HDI". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.112.12.14 (talk) 11:27, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
Sources?
[edit]What's the source for 2011/2010 data? It's totally wrong!

Why this article should revert posterior editions and use old data?
[edit]The current data (of 2014) is from UN, just like the 2010. The data have a source. This topic was created as a esforce to find a consensus with Krosah, who, without any alleged reasons restore old versions of this article.B777-300ER (talk) 00:30, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
