The articles on individual players include accents, it would seem to be more consistent to include them, rather than omit them. Brett Dunbar 15:42, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Flag Icons

I noticed the country was changed from just flags to flags and country abbreviation. Do we really need the name abbreviation? There was talk awhile back of removing the flag icons completely (which I disagreed with) but adding even more to the columns seems unneeded and cluttering to me. I did and those articles look worse because of it. Just because one article is poorly done or uses more text than necessary it doesn't mean that others must follow. However it was explained to me that it's wiki policy to have the first flag have the name abbreviation and subsequent flags not to... that would be even worse! so I give in to always using the country abbreviations rather than sometimes using it.
