Expansion
[edit]Does anyone have an objection if I move this list to List of Atlas launches, and modify it to cover all Atlas variants? --GW… 21:07, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- There have (obviously) been lots of Atlas launches! Another possibility would be to have a new List of Atlas launch lists or some such, that points to each individual list as it is created. Alternately, if we do move to a single List of Atlas launches page, it could have sections for each major variant, rather than one huge table. (If the above doesn't make it clear, I question the value of huge, monolithic tables.) (sdsds - talk) 22:51, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Planning another List of R-7 launches? If we do this for Atlas, then we should do the same for Delta and Titan. -MBK004 05:38, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
- Yes. I agree about doing it for Delta and Titan as well (in fact, I'm going to start the Titan one next). The Delta one should probably be for both Thor and Delta. Sdsds, I personally prefer lists split by date rather than by type (see list of R-7 launches for what I had in mind), but if you'd prefer, we could do a separate list by variant, in which case we wouldn't need to move this page. --GW… 09:48, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
- I see the advantages inherent in splitting by date; no objection to that approach. (sdsds - talk) 23:21, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- I think this has had long enough. There have been no objections so I'm going to implement it. I'll split it by decades to avoid the list becoming too long. --GW… 20:38, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
