Team records as AL wild card qualifier
[edit]How can the Bosox have a team record of 6-5, when they were the wild card only 6 times? Likewise, the Angels, Tigers, Mariners, and Orioles have 3-0, 2-1, 1-1, and 1-1 records, even though each has been the wild card only once.
The only accurate team records seem to be the Yankees (with an 0-3 record, as they have been the wild card 3 times) and A's (0-1, in one wild-card appearance).
